Public Interaction with The Current Events On The Social Media Pages Of The Egyptian Newspaper

Abstract

This research aims to study the interaction of the Egyptian public with the current events on the social networking pages of the Egyptian newspapers, through the analysis of big data. Data was collected from several sources, and statistical analysis and machine learning tools were used to analyze this data. The focus of the study was on a group of current events that were discussed on the social networking pages of Egyptian newspapers based on the reports of social bakers, and the audience's interaction with these events was analyzed in terms of quantity and quality. The study showed that the interaction was greater with events related to society, where social events came in the first place with a percentage of 90%, accidents in the second place with a percentage of 68.4%, and events related to entertainment and anecdotes in the third place with a percentage of 48.6%, and the researcher used machine learning methods such as (Sentiment Analysis). feelings) to know the negative and positive attitude towards the event intended to be studied, and the results of this study can help Egyptian newspapers to improve their strategies in communicating with the public and develop their content in a way that meets the needs of the Egyptian public
