Micro Learning Environment Based on Thinking Maps in Developing Divergent Thinking among the First Prep School Pupils

The aim of this research is to develop the divergent thinking skills of the first prep school pupils in the Al-Azhar educational administration of Mallawi by investigating the effect of micro-learning environment based on thinking maps as an experimental treatment material. To achieve the objective of the research, the experimental approach was used, and the one-group experimental design was used. The research group consisted of (80) male and female pupils and the two measurement tools were (testing the cognitive aspects of divergent thinking skills, and the observation card of the performance aspects of divergent thinking skills). An micro -learning environment was designed and implemented, and the research group joined it. It contained detailed forms, educational designs, PDF files, interactive activities, discussion forums and formative tests. The test and observation card were applied before and after learning. The results of the research showed the effectiveness of the micro-learning environment based on thinking maps in developing the cognitive aspects of the divergent thinking skills of first-grade middle school students between the pre and post applications in favor of the post application. The research concluded with a set of recommendations and proposed research.
