Abstract

ABSTRACT

The current research aimed to develop the concepts of mathematics, digital skills and learning motivation among third graders with mathematics learning disabilities, and provide content in a learning environment based on gamification and measuring its effectiveness among the research participants who were 50 male and female third graders with learning disabilities at Damaris Primary School in Minya Educational Administration, where the research experiment was conducted during the first semester of the academic year 2022-2023. The research instruments were the IQ test and the mathematics learning disabilities diagnostic scale (applied only in pre-measurement to control the sample), a cognitive test, a learning motivation scale, and an observation sheet (Both used in pre- and post-measurement). Results showed the effectiveness of gamification in developing the concepts of mathematics, digital skills and learning motivation among the research participants. The research stressed the importance of developing a strategic plan for the use of gamification in different educational stages and paying attention to employing it as one of the approaches to e-learning in educational institutions
