Abstract

Abstract

The research aims to study the characteristics and trends of Futurism, and to provide designs for evening wear inspired by it using draping on the mannequin, and the research followed the analytical descriptive approach with application. The research included two samples, the first sample of (10) specialists in the field of clothing and textiles, and fashion design to know their opinions on the Suggested designs, the second sample of undergraduate female consumers aged between (18-25) years and their number (103) consumers to know their opinions on Suggested designs,

This was done through a questionnaire directed to specialists and a female consumers, and the results of the research included two parts: the first was an analysis of the research designs, (10) designs, and the second dealt with statistical results and verification of hypotheses, and the results showed positive both specialists and female consumers towards the proposed designs in achieving the design lines of characteristics and trends of Futurism, and its compatibility with fashion lines and age-appropriateness
