The pattern of practicing activities in a micro-learning environment and its impact on the development of mobile infographic design skills among educational technology students

Abstract

The aim of the current research is to reveal the impact of the pattern of activities in a micro-learning environment in providing educational technology students with the skills of producing animated infographics. The research sample consisted of two experimental groups of (60) students from the third year in the Department of Educational Technology at the Faculty of Specific Education. They were divided into two experimental groups 1 and experimental 2, where the experimental group 1 used the pattern of practicing individual activities, and the second experimental group used the pattern of practicing collaborative activities. The current research in a pre-achievement test to reveal the cognitive skills of the animated infographic;

The results revealed a statistically significant difference at the level (<=0.05) between the mean scores of the two experimental groups in the pre and post tests in favor of the experimental group that practiced the activities in the cooperative style.
