Abstract

Ancient Egyptian art is the heritage of the most important civilizations that spanned nearly 3000 years, as the heritage is the language of the people and the way of life of customs and traditions, and is transmitted from one generation to another. The heritage of ancient Egyptian art also contains many decorative elements that are considered one of the most important sources of plastic art.

The current research deals with my own artistic experience in the field of producing digital art paintings inspired by ancient Egyptian art, and highlighting ancient Egyptian art in a manner commensurate with the spirit of the times.

The importance of the research and its problem is represented in the scarcity of previous digital artistic experiences that dealt with the issue of producing digital artworks inspired by ancient Egyptian heritage and art, while many plastic artists dealt with it in their pictorial paintings.

The research objectives focused on:

Identifying the artistic features and characteristics of ancient Egyptian art. Knowing how to draw inspiration from ancient Egyptian art through analyzing the works of some contemporary Egyptian artists. Taking advantage of digital art to produce graphic artworks inspired by ancient Egyptian art.
