Creating wooden crafts based on Joinery methods in the field of woodworking"

Abstract

Joinery plays a major role in building wooden crafts due to the multiplicity of functions. The researcher thinks that the various Joinery methods are among the creative entrances which can be invested with a new vision that serves the educational process, enriches the field of woodwork, and leads to unconventional results. Therefore, the current research highlights the aesthetics of Joinery, when using Joinery as an intellectual and formative starting point helps in presenting many ideas that would push and motivate students towards presenting innovative works of art.

By providing students with the necessary knowledge and skills and some executive rules to make Joinery, they were able to upgrade them through various geometric formations. Experimentation also provided the student with a free method to formation according to his vision and abilities.Ultimately, the research reached an answer to its main question, which is How can the Joinery be used as an entry to create wooden crafts for students of art education? Among the most important findings of the research are: making wooden crafts that based on joinery methods helps to diversify ideas and keep pace with modern and contemporary thought to produce innovative works of art, the provision of a new vision and an unconventional teaching entry mainly based on Joinery.
