Teaching Model Based on REACT Strategy and Effectiveness It in Developing Skills of Twenty-First Century for Student Teacher

Abstract

The research aimed to identify effectiveness of teaching model based on REACT strategy in developing skills of twenty-first century among of (60) student teachers in the third year at the Faculty of Specific Education, Port Said University, The results showed: There are statistically significant differences between averages of scores of experimental and control groups in dimensional application of twenty-first century skills scale with its sub-skills, and by calculating size of effect of scale as a whole, we note that it is equal to 3.97, which is large, which indicates effectiveness of the REACT strategy in developing the skills of the twenty-first century with its sub-skills for benefit of teacher students in experimental group, And the existence of statistically significant differences between averages of experimental group scores before and after teaching in scale of skills of twenty-first century skills sub-in favor of application of post and thus accepts second hypothesis of research and it is also clear that size of impact is large as size of the impact of scale as a whole (9.8). The research recommended increasing attention to development of twenty-first century skills in light of the REACT strategy in all courses in various disciplines for its importance in supporting the twenty-first century skills of student teacher, The research suggested further studies on construction of new teaching models at different stages of education in light of REACT strategy.
