Abstract

The artist uses the language of expression to translate his feelings, emotions and thoughts. The process of expression takes place through the interaction of the media used, the artistic style, elements, and forms, in addition to the idea expressing. The problem has been limited to what extent the divergent creative thinking processes and their elements can confirm the expressive character and confirm the symbolic meanings of the elements and shapes in the plate. The research aims to link the concepts of expressiveness and symbolism and the concept of growth of the life cycle in a series of works.Expressionism is a painting ideology that originated in the United States of AmericaDuring the fifties of the twentieth century and spread in Europe. It relies on the theory of colours, lines and shapes, if used freely in an informal composition. It is more expressive and attractive than if it is used according to formal concepts or when it is used to represent things.
