The Relative Contribution of Strategic Thinking Skills in Predicting Persuasion intelligence among students of Home Economic Al-Azhar University

Abstract

This research aims to determine the level of the relative contribution of strategic thinking skills in predicting the level of persuasion intelligence among the students of the Faculty of Home Economics, Al-Azhar University.

The psychometric properties sample consists of (200) students, the scale of strategic thinking and the scale of persuasive intelligence .

The research results conclude that there are no statistically significant differences between the hypothetical mean score and the average scores of the research participants on the strategic thinking scale, which indicates that the students of the Faculty of Home Economics possess average strategic thinking skills. Furthermore, there are statistically significant differences between the hypothetical mean score and the average scores of the research participants on the persuasion intelligence scale, which indicates its presence in a way higher than the average among the students of the Faculty of Home Economics,Moreover, the results find that there is a positive and statistically significant relationship between strategic thinking skills and persuasion intelligence, in addition to some statistically significant differences between the average scores of the research participants in strategic thinking skills due to the difference in an academic specialization. In conclusion, the results find that there are no statistically significant differences between the average scores of the research participants in persuasion intelligence due to the difference in academic specialization, and that there is a relatively significant contribution of strategic thinking skills in predicting persuasion intelligence among the students of the Faculty of Home Economics - Al-Azhar University.
