Abstract

The study aimed to identify the relationship between university youth's use of social networking sites and their attitudes towards rumors. It is a descriptive study that was applied using the survey method on a random sample of university youth consisting of (400) males and females, The researcher reached a set of results, the most important of which are the following: The percentage (54.3%) of the study sample are exposed to social networking sites (always) in the first order, and (WhatsApp) tops the list of social networking sites that university youth are exposed to in the same study in the first order and retreated ( Facebook) In the second order, there is a statistically significant inverse correlation between the rate of university youth's use of social networking sites and their attitudes towards rumors. there is a statistically significant inverse correlation between the rate of university youth's use of social networking sites and their attitudes towards rumors.
