A Social Learning Platform on developing Knowledge Management Skills for Computer Teachers

Abstract

Research abstract:

The aim of this study is to investigate the effectiveness of a social learning platform in developing knowledge management skills by using some of the “Office 365” services for computer teachers in Azhar Minia Directorate in the academic year 2021/2022. The Edmodo social platform was used as an experimental treatment material, and to achieve the research objectives The study used the descriptive and experimental methodologies, and used the experimental design with one group. the research group consisted of (25) computer teachers, and the two measurement tools were (the self-assessment scale for knowledge management skills, and the assessment card for knowledge management skills), and a virtual class was created on the platform includes a research group, which contains video clips, and PDF text files; To display the educational content, then interactive activities, discussion forums, and formative tests after the end of each lesson. Measurement tools were applied after learning; The results of the research have shown that the effectiveness of the social learning platform "Edmodo" in developing the skills of personal knowledge management among computer teachers in Al-Minia Al-Azhar region, and the research was concluded with a set of recommendations and proposed research
