The Effectiveness of a Proposed Educational Unit in the Operation of Automated Embroidery Machines "Brother884-T15" Using the Electronic Mind Mapping Pattern

The current study aimed to build and apply a proposed educational unit in the operation of automatic embroidery machines "Brother884-T15" using the pattern of electronic mind maps, and measure the effectiveness of the proposed educational unit in the development of cognitive achievement and skill performance of the operation of automatic embroidery machines "Brother884-T15" among the students of the second year of the Division of Ready-made Clothing - Department of Industrial Education - Faculty of Education - Helwan University, and measure their views towards the effectiveness of the proposed educational unit using the pattern of electronic mind maps to provide them with knowledge and skills. Included in the proposed educational unit, and the research followed the semi-experimental approach and the descriptive approach to their suitability to achieve the objectives of the research and verify its hypotheses, and after the application of the educational unit and the use of appropriate statistical methods, the study found the existence of statistically significant differences between the average scores of students in both the achievement test and the skill performance note card (pre- / post) in favor of the dimensional application, and the study also reached a positive views of students towards the effectiveness of the proposed educational unit using the pattern of electronic mind maps.
