Study the effect of intermittent fasting on hypertension patients

Abstract

Intermittent fasting is Helps the body to get rid of toxins and improve the satisfactory condition of many patients with pressure, diabetes, heart and blood fats,It can It helps to get rid of many diseases, and sick disorders, as it helps to lose weight, reduce inflammation, reduce blood glucose, maintain insulin level, increase sensitivity, improve cardiovascular diseases, strokes, raise immunity and neurological diseases. The effect of Intermittent fasting on Hypertension. (100) patient divided into(50) males and (50) females with hypertension on regular therapy ,Their nutritional status was evaluated for two weeks , then intermittent fasting was for 12, 16 and 20 hours a day, and coffee, tea and water were allowed without calories, then for two weeks after that, the usual eating habits were allowed .Body weight gain, were calculated, complete lipid profile as well as liver functions (ALT, AST) and blood glucose were determined. The results revealed a significant performance of Intermittent fasting as a treatment of Hypertension as well as improvement of the general health. the best lipid profile, liver functions and blood glucose were obtained. This study demonstrated that Intermittent fasting could be a promising approach to treat Hypertension.
