Abstract

The aim of the current research is to identify the effect of Using (4 MAT) Model in Teaching Home Economics to Develop Generative Thinking skills and Mental Motivation for the First grade preparatory stage Pupils. The sample of the research is (60) pupils from the first grade preparatory stage Pupils at Magda Al-Serafy Preparatory School for Girls - managed by Itai Al-Baroud - Al-Buhaira was divided into two groups, experimental consisting of (30) pupils and a control group of(30) pupils, and the research tools included (testing Generative Thinking - and the measure of Mental Motivation), The results of the research showed that there is a statistically significant difference at the level of (0.05)between the mean scores of the pupils of the experimental and control groups in the post application of the test of Generative Thinking skills as a whole and in all for the benefit of the students of the experimental group, It also resulted in a statistically significant difference at the level of (0.01). between the mean scores of the pupils of the experimental group, experimental and control groups in the post application of the scale of the mental motivation as a whole and in every dimension in favor of the students of the experimental group, the current research recommended the use of modern teaching strategies and methods to develop generative thinking and mental motivation among Pupils of Prep Stage.
