Abstract

improvisation in international compositions since the Baroque era until now. The performance is choral, or string music, or even for a solo instrument. There are two types of improvisation (free bound), and the player who performs improvisation must be fully mastered with all the performance techniques that he will review in his improvisation. On it, and through the researcher teaching the automated performance course for the third and fourth grades, he found a severe weakness among the students in creating a melodic sentence in a restricted or free form, and the problem of the research is determined by the presence of severe weakness among the students of the third and fourth year at the Faculty of Specific Education, Ain Shams University in creating a melodic sentence in a restricted manner. Or free, which prompted the researcher to suggest a way to teach students to improvise on the violin, and the study followed the experimental method with one group, and the research sample was the students of the third year and the fourth at the Faculty of Specific Education, Ain Shams University for the academic year 2021-2022, and the research included the theoretical framework represented by a review of a summary of improvisation and its types, then presented the applied framework, which is a presentation of the (6) steps of the proposed method and presentation of melodic models for each step followed by a comment on responses Students, then a presentation of the research results, then a presentation of the recommendations
