The reality of school theater and a proposal to activate it from the point of view of a specialist and students of preparatory and secondary schools in Damietta Governorate

Abstract

The aim of the research is to identify the reality of school theater in Damietta Governorate, and to present a proposed scenario to activate it, The research belongs to descriptive studies, It is based on the sampling survey method, for a sample of school theater specialists, and a sample of middle and high school students, The research tools were applied which are: The general trend of the school theater reality from the school theater specialist’s point of view came at the “always” level of the overall evaluation of all phrases with a mean of (2.53), and for students with an arithmetic mean (2.43), The most important obstacles to activating the school theater are represented in the absence of a school theater in the school, and the presence of noticeable shortcomings in the training courses provided to the school theater specialist, The research presented a proposed scenario that would increase the effectiveness of the school theater.
