Abstract

The current research aims mainly to study the effectiveness of a mentoring program to develop the awareness of housewives by selecting environmentally friendly household appliances (perceived quality, perceived value, environmental tag or statement card), and impact on the carbon footprint of the environment (carbon footprint information and knowledge, housewives' carbon footprint trends, practices to meet the challenges of high carbon footprint), neighborhood The data were updated through the application of research tools represented in the general preliminary data form, the survey of the awareness of housewives in the selection of environmentally friendly household appliances, the carbon footprint questionnaire for the environment, the guidance program for the development of the awareness of housewives to choose environmentally friendly household appliances and their impact on the carbon footprint of the environment by measuring the rate of change in the level of response and cognitive awareness after the end of the application of the bern By comparing the results of the application before and after the application, on a sample of (304) heads of household selected in a shell-like manner from the countryside and attended the province of Dakahlia (represented in Mansoura city, Talkha, Mona Al-Nasr, Met Ghamr and the surrounding villages), and
