Analytical study of the operetta (small on love) To enrich the course of tasting Arabic music

Abstract

Arab music has witnessed a great boom since the mid-nineteenth century by a large group of great composers and great singers such as Muhammad Abdel Wahab and Umm Kulthum, and others who made glory for Arab music, and Arab music depends on the various musical maqams and different Arab rhythms, and each maqam has a special character that distinguishes it This is due to the formation of these denominators from genera arranged in a specific order that differs from one denominator to another.
The number of maqamas is very large, as Saleh al-Ghazba al-Halabi mentioned in his writing “The Ship of Truth” that it amounts to (235) maqams, and the course “Tasting Arabic Music” is one of the most important courses that link what is theoretically taught with the Arabic music rules course for the specialized student and the student’s ability to distinguish these maqams Arabic in its various types and Arabic rhythms through hearing
This research included the research problem, research objectives, research importance, research questions, research procedures, research methodology, tools, limits and terminology.
