Techniques of performing the second movement of the Violin Concerto No. 3 Op. 3 in the "G" Major scale by Antonio Vivaldi

Abstract

The introduction included highlighting the violin importance among orchestra; Vivaldi is one of the most important Italian composers. The researcher chose the second educational movement of the violin concerto No. 3 Op. 3 in the "G" Major scale by Vivaldi to identify the techniques in it.

Then presented the research problem, which was that the students are interested in the first movement despite the presence of important techniques through the second movement in that concerto, which can be dealt with by analysis, the purpose, importance of the research that helps to perfect the techniques, the research question, its procedures, limits and terminology, then previous studies, the theoretical framework that included the life and Vivaldi works, an explanation of the concerto techniques, the analytical framework for explaining the places of these techniques and dividing the second movement into four study exercises, the results, recommendations, references, and Arabic / English research summaries.
