Abstract

The current research aims to study the mathematical relationships between the physical measurements resulting from the measurements of the lower part of the men's body to obtain from them a suggested measurement table that can be used in building the basic pattern of men's jeans trousers in the industry and the educational process , The research followed the descriptive, experimental and analytical approach to achieve its aims, and patterns were built for the proposed sizes from (30) to (46) resulting from the proposed mathematical relationships and the evaluation of the patterns by specialists in the field of clothing, numbering (10) arbitrator, and a group of consumers (20) ) consumer, and the data was processed statistically, and it was found that there are statistically significant differences between The averages of the evaluation axes in favor of (front, back, and side) respectively, and there were differences between the specialists’ evaluation of the proposed pattern of sizes in terms of control, comfort, and general shape (as a whole) and the best of them was size (38) with a quality factor (99.91), and the least model (46). With a quality coefficient (93.51), there are differences between consumers’ evaluation of the proposed pattern in favor of size (38), and there is a correlation between the ranking of specialists and the ranking of consumers in light of the evaluation axes for each of them. The value of (t = 0.946) is significant. It was statistically measured at the level of significance (0.01)
