Creating Furnishings Designs Inspired by the Aesthetics of Marine Creatures Embroidery with Bargello Technique Style

Abstract

The research aims to draw inspiration from the aesthetics of marine creatures (Fishes, Shells, Coral reefs, Seahorse, Snails, Turtles, Shells, Octopus, Shrimp, Crab, Clams, Jellyfish) because they are among the inspiring creatures for humans and creating designs for furniture suitable for a living room consisting of (Curtains, Cushions, Tablecloths), and the source of inspiration (Marine Creatures) is characterized by its multiple shapes, types and colors, as well as its multiple external lines, its multiple decorative forms and the aesthetics of its designs, as well as the wonderful colors mixed with perfection, and it was employed by following the elements and foundations of design in order to achieve The aesthetic and functional aspects of the innovative design, through the use of the Bergello embroidery technique, in addition to measuring the opinions of both specialists and consumers in the innovative designs represented in twenty designs for living room furnishings (curtain, pillowcases, and mattress), as well as implementing the design that obtained the highest result from the two research samples, The research followed the descriptive approach to measure the survey of the opinions of both specialists and consumers in the proposed designs, with the One of these designs, and the preference of designs from the point of view of the study samples.
