The audio identity of Aswan from the songs of applause and its use in teaching the Oud instrument to the specialized student

Abstract

The President of the Arab Republic of Egypt provided great support to young people to help them create, excel and participate in projects implemented by the state, including the visual identity project prepared by the youth of the German University in Egypt. This presidential support represents real pride and a strong motivation.
Music in the Arab world is primarily lyrical music, and lyrical heritage represents a large part of the great artistic heritage in the Arab world. The aim of the research was to show the audio identity of Aswan from the clap songs by listing and transcribing some songs and making use of the Aswan clap songs in teaching the Oud instrument to the specialized student. The search was divided into:
First: The theoretical section: It included: Previous studies and research related to the research topic. The theoretical framework of the research dealt with identity, its concept and components.
Second: The Applied Section: It included: analyzing some palm songs in Aswan (the research sample) - making use of the clap songs in Aswan in teaching the Oud instrument to the specialized student by formulating exercises inspired by those songs - showing the auditory identity of the clap songs in Aswan. Then the research ended with the results that answered the research questions and achieved the goals, followed by the recommendations of the research, the Arabic and foreign references, and the research summary.
