Abstract

The problem of the research was determined in the presence of a wide spread of Arabic songs, Egyptian folk songs and festival songs through the role of the participatory video application (YouTube), which called the researcher to consider this phenomenon by analysis and criticism to determine the extent of the impact of that channel in the spread of multiple musical cultures and this research was followed The descriptive critical approach using the "content analysis" method to suit the nature of the research.
This research was divided into two parts:
First: Theoretical section:
The first axis: previous studies and research related to the research topic.
The second axis: the theoretical framework for research and an overview of contemporary Arabic songs and Egyptian festival songs, an overview of the YouTube channel, the impact of the positive and negative spread of these songs through the YouTube application.
Second: The practical aspect:
Displaying six models for the number of views of YouTube channels, and critical comment on them.
The researcher has reached to clarify the direct impact of the participatory video application (YouTube) on the spread of contemporary Arabic songs, including the songs of Egyptian festivals to the world, and this was explained in the number of views of many musical forms that appeared and spread through the YouTube channel since its beginnings on the Internet until now, and this effect was explained by During a presentation of the selected models of festival songs and contemporary songs.
