Abstract

The aim of the current research is to identify the extent to which university students are exposed to news of crimes against women on Facebook and its relationship to their psychological reassurance. It was applied to a random sample of (450) single female students in universities (Minya, Al-Azhar and Al-Nahda Private) and the researcher used the descriptive approach, and the questionnaire tool was used, and the current research reached The most important results are that 74.4% of university students, the sample of the study, have been following Facebook permanently in the first rank and for more than five years, and WhatsApp is one of the most prominent of these websites that university students follow in the first rank with 95.3%.. The university sample of the study in their psychological reassurance rate in light of their exposure to news of crimes against women via Facebook according to the university variable.
