Abstract

The aim of the research is to develop structural programming skills and solve computer problems for students of management information systems by revealing The effect of the interaction between patterns of electronic guidance for educational situations and the type of publication in digital video lectures in the flipped classroom environment in developing these skills, The research used the descriptive method, and the experimental method, The research sample consisted of (120) first-year students in the Department of Management Information Systems, and the measurement tools were the use of the cognitive achievement test, the skill performance observation card, and the computer problem-solving scale, The results of the research found: There are differences between the mean scores of the experimental groups students in the post application of the computer problem solving scale, achievement test and the observation card related to structural programming skills through: digital video lectures in the flipped classroom environment due to the main effect of the interaction between the Patterns of electronic guidance for educational situations (visual/audio), and the type of broadcasting (direct versus recorded) in favor of the fourth experimental group (the teacher’s voice-guided presence and the type of recorded publication), The research recommended the necessity of holding training courses and workshops for faculty members at all levels of study towards employing and using digital video lectures and the method of its design and preparation.
