Abstract

The aim of the research is to employ the “slashing” technique in decorating the university students’ clothes and to take advantage of the different methods of the “slashing” technique to raise the aesthetic and functional value of the university students’ clothes. And the experimental approach, and its tools included (a questionnaire for the opinions of the arbitrators on the decorative pieces of clothing using the “Slashing” technique, a questionnaire for the opinions of consumers (university students) towards The decorative cloth pieces and the results resulted in the following:
1. There are statistically significant differences between the ten clothing pieces decorated with (Slashing) technique in achieving the aesthetic aspect according to the opinions of specialists.
2. There are statistically significant differences between the ten clothing pieces decorated with (Slashing) technique in achieving the functional aspect according to the opinions of specialists.
3. There are statistically significant differences between the ten clothing pieces decorated with (Slashing) technique in achieving the technical aspect according to the opinions of specialists.
4. There are statistically significant differences between the ten decorative pieces of clothing using the (Slashing) technique, according to the opinions of specialists.
