Abstract

The aim of the current research is to identify the learning strategy for mastery and the use of the strategy to improve performance in the kinematic rhythm course for first-year students in the Faculty of Specific Education, South Valley University and the use of the strategy to improve the trend towards kinetic rhythm in the Faculty of Specific Education, South Valley University.
The research relied on the quasi-experimental approach with the experimental group and the control group, and the sample consisted of 20 students for the experimental group and 20 students for the control group from the first year students of the Faculty of Specific Education - South Valley University for the academic year (2020-2021).
The most important results were:That through the statistical treatments of the scales of the current research, with the promise of applying the proposed lessons and answering the research questions, and then finding that teaching kinetic rhythm using the learning strategy for mastery had a significant impact on improving the performance of first-year students in the subject of kinetic rhythm. The research recommends benefiting from the results of previous studies and the exercises proposed in them, related to improving the level of students' performance, enriching the subject of kinetic rhythm, and selecting what suits the topics studied and the level of students to apply during the academic year.
