Abstract

The study of this research aimed to measure the effectiveness of video modeling in developing electronic communication skills for the hard of hearing. To achieve the goal of the current study, the electronic communication skills to be developed among students were identified.
The researcher followed the descriptive analytical approach and the quasi-experimental approach to the experimental group. The study group consisted of (4) students of third-grade secondary hearing-impaired students who were determined intentionally. The experimental treatment material was represented in an electronic learning environment based on video modeling, and the measurement tools consisted of an achievement test for communication skills., and a note card for electronic communication skills.
Statistical processing methods were applied using the program "SPSS.V 21", and the results of the study showed the effectiveness of video modeling supported by sign language in developing electronic communication skills for the hard of hearing. The current study recommended the development of learning objectives and content in light of employing electronic learning environments and using these environments to improve and develop learning skills and levels in different courses
