Reality of institutional performance in some faculties of Port Said University in light of the Corona virus pandemic"Covid-19"

The aim of the research is to identify the estimated degrees of the reality of the institutional performance of some faculties of Port Said University in light of the pandemic of the Corona virus.

The researcher used the descriptive analytical method by applying two questionnaires to some faculties of Port Said University; The first consists of (66) paragraphs, distributed over (8) axes , It was applied to a sample of (114) faculty members and the supporting staff, and the second consisted of (34) paragraphs, distributed on (4) axes, and it was applied On a sample of (100) employees.

The results showed that there's a statistically significant correlation between the spread of the Corona virus and institutional performance in various interviews in some faculties at the level of Port Said University from the point of view of the faculty members, where the estimated degrees of this reality were average in all The fields, except for the field of quality of academic life, which came with a low level of verification, the field of precautionary measures for the Corona virus and the field of administrative performance ranked first, while the axis of scientific research and community development and the field of administrative structure development came in the last place.

The research recommends the need to adopt clear and declared standards to ensure excellence in institutional performance, and to activate the existing risk and crisis management units in the faculties, in addition to the radical restructuring of the administrative methods of the faculties.
