The psychological hardiness of working women and its reflection on family balance during the Corona pandemic

Abstract

This research aims to study the reflection of the psychological hardiness of working women on the family balance during the Corona pandemic. The study sample consisted of (371) working women. The research tools included the general data form, the psychological hardiness scale, the family balance scale, the research followed the descriptive approach.

The results showed that the level of psychological hardiness of working women during the Corona pandemic is average. And the level of family balance for working women during the Corona pandemic is average, and the balance of roles comes first, followed by health balance, then economic balance, and finally social balance.
The results also showed that there were statistically significant differences at the 0.01 significance level in psychological hardiness dimensions and family balance axes among working women during the Corona pandemic in favor of urban women, and women working in government departments, in favor of not being infected with a family member with the Corona virus. And there is a statistically significant difference at the 0.01 level in psychological hardiness dimensions and family balance axes among working women during the Corona pandemic in favor of the longer marriage period, the highest educational level of the two spouses, the smaller family, the highest income level. And the results also showed the existence of a positive and significant correlation relationship Statistically at a significance level of 0.01 between the psychological hardiness of the working woman dimensions and the family balance axes during the Corona pandemic.
