PADDED BRAS AND THEIR RELATIONSHIP TO WEARING COMFORT

Abstract

Clothing has a great impact on human health, and there is no doubt that the relationship between clothes and health is a close relationship. Whenever the clothes are close to the skin, there is an urgent necessity to meet a number of health requirements with it, especially that this clothing is one of the indispensable underwear for men and women in all stages of life. The quality of clothing products with their ability to meet the requirements of use and their ability to provide clothing comfort to the consumer through many psychological and physiological factors, comfort is a state of satisfaction as a result of a physiological and physical balance between the individual’s clothing and the surrounding environment, and the characteristics of clothing comfort are closely related to the type of material used in the clothing product, Achieving comfort in women’s underwear is important because they are worn for long periods and because they are directly attached to the body, so the researcher conducted this study to examine the characteristics of bras, especially the padded type, to assess the comfort they provide for women, through a questionnaire form designed to find out the most commonly used types by a group of women in Zagazig City. A set of tests was conducted to find out the type of material used in the bras under study and to measure air permeability, water absorption, thickness, softness and electrostatics, and the research found that there were statistically significant differences between the average scores
