Abstract

The study aims to exploit the remnants of the evening wear fabrics in the design and implementation of new and innovative separate clothing accessories by following artistic and scientific methods and this is from the point of view of recycling the remains of fabrics, especially the evening fabrics because of their beauty, glamour and distinctive features and high prices and diversity in their materials inspires the designer with new ideas. The problem with research lies in how to use the remnants of the evening fabrics with different types in shape, texture, shine, space and how to combine them harmoniously and coherently to produce separate clothing supplements that achieve the aesthetic and functional aspect. The research followed the experimental approach and the analytical descriptive approach to reach the research objectives.The tools included two evaluation forms of designs implemented by specialists in the field of clothing and textiles and by a group of consumers.The validity and stability of the evaluation forms were measured There are statistically significant differences between the designs implemented in achieving the aesthetic aspect according to the opinions of specialists.There are statistically significant differences between the designs implemented in achieving the innovative aspect according to the opinions of specialists. There are statistically significant differences between the designs implemented in achieving the functional aspect according to the opinions of the specialists. There are statistically significant differences between the designs implemented in their suitability to market requirements according to the opinions of specialis.
