Abstract

The study aimed at developing the skills of dealing with one of the electronic educational platforms (Edmodo platform) among general education teachers through the use of electronic active learning strategies. The study group was selected from thirty public education teachers. The study tools consisted of: data collection tools, which included the development of a design for active learning strategies in the Edmodo environment, and the preparation of a list of skills to deal with the Edmodo environment to be developed among general education teachers. Experimental processing is electronic active learning strategies in the Edmodo environment, and these strategies and tools for their implementation are numerous according to the educational goal, namely: (Private teacher - electronic brainstorming - electronic discovery - assignments / assignments - peer interaction - project-based learning - strategy for collecting and analyzing information - electronic problem solving - electronic participatory learning), the measurement tools represented in an achievement test for the cognitive component of skills to deal with an environment Edmodo, the performance note card for skills in dealing with the Edmodo environment, and the evaluation card for the effectiveness of learning and training in the Edmodo environment. The results showed the effectiveness of developing skills to deal with the Edmodo environment (the cognitive component and skill performance) according to the active learning strategies of general education teachers, and the presence of a positive significant correlation between the scores of the research group individuals in the skill performance according to active learning strategies,
