Abstract

The research aims to develop a set of designs for home clothes for elderly women that achieve the aesthetic and functional aspects,
Where the elderly stage is one of the most important stages that needs special attention and special care, and providing comfortable home clothes that help the elderly woman move easily and facilitate the process of putting on and taking off for her is one of the important matters that reflects, positively on her psychological and health condition, and the research sample consisted of (30) An elderly woman (60 years and over) from Menoufia Governorate, and the research tools included a questionnaire to evaluate designs and to measure the opinions of the elderly women under study about the clothing problems they face in home clothes, and another questionnaire to evaluate the designs proposed by the faculty members and specialists, whose number is (20) arbitrator, the research followed the descriptive analytical approach with the application through the work of a group of designs (10 designs) for the home clothes of the elderly woman that meet her functional needs, and the results of the research came to fulfill its hypotheses as follows: And the design elements, and the availability of functional suitability, and the designs achieve enrichment for the home clothes of the elderly woman.
