A comparative study of the method of drafting the monologue for both Ali Ismail and Ahmed Fouad Hassan to benefit from it in the subject of Arabic composition

Abstract

Music helps to feel powerful emotions such as sadness, fear and joy as it can improve humans' mood and health. Musical expression is a group of emotional influences that give the artistic work special sentimental meaning
The researcher noticed that both Ali Ismael and Ahmed Fouad Hassan presented the melody "Khan Al-Khalili" with different composition methods. They could embody a vivid and expressive image of the popular Egyptian neighborhood Khan Al-Khalili. Hence, the researcher decided to study the methods used in composition of this automated musical piece, Khan Al-Khalili, presented by both Ali Ismael and Ahmed Fouad Hassan in order to find out how to benefit from these methods in composing Arab music.
The paper includes:
Introduction, research problem, research goals, research significance, research questions, research limits, research approach, research sample, tools, and research procedures.
Then the theoretical framework followed including:
First, the artistic lives of Ali Ismael and Ahmed Fouad Hassan
Second, information about the popular Egyptian neighborhood, Khan Al-Khalili
Third, a brief about musical composition
After that the applied framework was presented:
The researcher reviewed the applied framework that included an applied analytical study of the automated musical piece, Khan Al-Khalili that was composed by Ali Ismael and Ahmed Fouad Hassan. It was studied to order to understand the methods used in composing this musical piece and to find out how to benefit from these methods in composing Arab music.
At the end of the paper, the researcher gave the results, the answers to the research questions, recommendations
