Cognitive flexibility and its relationship to taking responsibility for a sample of girls who are about to get married

Abstract

This research aims to study the relationship between cognitive flexibility and taking responsibility for a sample of girls who are about to get married, and the relationship of some social variables such as (age - profession - educational attainment - place of residence) to the level of cognitive flexibility and taking responsibility. To achieve the objectives of the research, the researchers prepared two questionnaires, one of them to measure flexibility. The study sample consisted of (270) girls who were deliberately chosen from girls who are about to get married, and the results of the research resulted in: There is a positive, statistically significant correlation between cognitive flexibility and taking responsibility in its three dimensions (towards the self - family - society) for a sample. In the research, there is no correlation between age and each of the level of cognitive flexibility and responsibility towards its dimensions (family - society), while there is a correlation between age and after taking responsibility towards oneself, Also, there is no correlation between the place of residence and each of the level of cognitive flexibility and tolerance. Responsibility towards its dimensions (family - self - society).
