Application Study for Evaluating some Methods of Drawing Women’s Corsage Pattern to Fit The Egyptian Body

Abstract

The research aims to evaluate method (Aldrich, Brogo, and Profili) to bulid Womens corsage Pattern; to identified with result of evaluation, comparison between3 methods, level of their proportionality, nature of Egyptian bodies, Then Evaluating makes some appropriate adjustments to reach the highest degree of quality, achieve good control factors, research followed to achieve its objectives the descriptive, experimental, analytical approach, so (3) Patterns for corsage were prepared using 3 methods in size (42), they differed Drawing methods for 3 Patterns, after drawing, preparation and implementation, it was found that 3 patterns need to be modified to suit good control factors of women’s body and (12) patterns were implemented after adjusting for sizes (40,42,44) with 3 methods, then specialists’ opinions were taken In the field of clothing by means of a questionnaire showing basic factors for good control of Patterns implemented. After evaluating and processing data statistically, it was found that there are statistically significant differences between (Borgo, Aldrich and Profili) Pattern after modification, where Borgo Pattern after modification achieved the highest results with a quality coefficient of (91.50)% for average of all measurements in terms of (general shape, drop, amount of comfort), depth and breadth of curves, adjusting penny in terms of location and length, adjusting lines “half of the front, chest, bust and hip”, adjusting dart in terms of location and length),While Aldrich Pattern achieved relatively high percentages with a quality coefficient of (86.54)%, then Profile Pattern the third with a quality coefficient of (68.96)%.
