Abstract

Aim of the current research is to take advantage of the modern technologies that have appeared in the field of educational technology, especially in light of the Corona pandemic, COVID-19, and employ them to overcome the problems of reality and train students in the practical skill associated with the subject of maintenance of educational devices to reach the required level of performance, through design patterns of performance support Within the 3D simulation programs, with the aim of providing those in charge of designing and producing 3D simulation programs with a set of technical and educational standards related to design, in order to raise the quality of simulation programs and their efficiency in achieving the objectives, and thus the research is considered a category of experimental research that explores the effectiveness of performance support patterns and their effectiveness in developing The skill level of students' performance.
Researcher designed and produced a simulation program with performance support patterns (audio, visual, audio-visual) for the educational device maintenance course, and then the researcher prepared the two tools to measure the cognitive aspect of the course and the performance (skills) aspect, and the research sample consisted of 60 students, the second division of education technology. For the academic year 2020/2021, out of a total of (100) students from the original community, and the research sample was distributed into three experimental groups of (20) students for each experimental group according to the experimental design
