A program based on the strategy of practical presentations through YouTube to develop some manual skills

Abstract

The current research aims mainly to determine the effectiveness of the proposed program based on the strategy of electronic practical presentations through YouTube in providing secondary school students with some manual skills, developing their attitudes towards manual work and small projects, and identifying the correlation between secondary school students’ acquisition of some manual skills and their attitudes towards Manual work and micro-projects, and the research sample included (25) high school students, for the academic year 2020-2021 AD, and the research tools consisted of a proposed program prepared using the strategy of electronic practical presentations through a YouTube channel prepared for this purpose to train secondary school students. On some manual skills, the scale of evaluation of the final product, and the scale of students' attitudes towards manual work and micro-enterprises. The most important results were: the development of students’ positive attitudes towards using the strategy of electronic practical presentations through YouTube in learning useful things, students’ acquisition of some manual skills as models for products of micro-projects, the development of students’ positive attitudes towards establishing micro-projects, and the existence of a positive correlation between the trend scale Both sides (towards using the strategy of electronic practical presentations through YouTube, towards establishing micro-projects), and a form for evaluating some manual skills
