Abstract

The research aims to determine the clothing, aesthetic and functional requirements of children's clothing in middle childhood from (6-8) according to the needs of the child, studying the Saudi folklore through the Janadriyah Festival, and creating contemporary proposed designs for children's costumes for school parties, adapted from the Janadriyah Festival. Measuring the degree of acceptance of specialists in the proposed designs, measuring the degree of acceptance by consumers (mothers) of the proposed designs of contemporary children's costumes (6-8) for school parties adapted from the Janadriyah Festival, implementing the proposed designs that obtained the highest acceptance rate by research samples, measuring the degree of acceptance The specialists in the designs implemented for children's clothes adapted from the Janadriyah Festival for School Parties, and to achieve the research objectives, they used the descriptive approach with the applied study, and the results resulted in the aesthetic and functional requirements of children's costumes in the middle stage, the importance of the Saudi heritage, the role of the Janadriyah Festival in highlighting the Saudi heritage, The patterns of folklore and human values in the Janadriyah Festival, and the accompanying events during the festival, the impact of strengthening the national identity through the Janadriyah Festival on childhood, the importance of folk costumes (folklore) in school parties,
