Abstract

The objective of the research is to know the relationship between methods of tension management (Problem solving, Relaxation, Adaptation) and the total with facing family stress of mothers having children suffering from attention deflect hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), (Psychological stress, social stress, economical stress.) and The total for a sample of mothers having children suffering from (ADHD).The research tools - represented in the primary data form and the two questionnaires of methods of tension management and facing family stress - are applied on an intentional sample of 43 mothers having children suffering from (ADHD) belonging to different social and economic levels. The research followed the descriptive and analytical method. The data was analyzed and the appropriate statistical treatment were performed using (Spss) program. The research has concluded that: there is appositive correlation of statistical significances of methods of tension management (Problems solving, Relaxation, Adaptation), the total and facing family stress of mothers having children suffering from (ADHD) (Psychological stress, social stress, economical stress.) and The total. The research recommended the following: Providing means of communications among mothers of children having (ADHD) and specialists and to hold lectures to be aware of how to face family stress.
