The Effect of Different Crochet Accessories Techniques on the Quality of the Final Product

The aim of this research is to find the most suitable (thread type, stitch type, mixture between threads) to achieve product quality. The importance of the research is in the use of some types of threads such as Metal threads, blended threads, and Acrylic threads in the field of accessories , especially bracelets, in addition to Cotton threads, and the use of some crochet stitches such as Waffle stitch, Star stitch in an unconventional manner by using them in the implementation of bracelets, in addition to the use of basic crochet stitches such as Single Crochet, Half Double Crochet, Double Crochet.
To achieve the objectives of the research, (45) bracelets were implemented, where the bracelets were divided into five groups according to the stitches used. Each group included (9) bracelets, and the bracelets were presented to specialists. The most appropriate (3) bracelets from each group were selected and presented to consumers and the most appropriate bracelet from each group was selected using the appropriate statistics. Some of the main findings were:
1- The waffle stitch achieved the highest values for the used crochet stitches according to the opinions of specialists, while the Star stitch achieved the highest values according to the opinions of consumers.
2- The French Macrame thread, the Cotton thread, and the mix of the French Macrame thread with the mixed thread (75% Polyester / 25% Metallic Polyester) were the most preferred among the threads used, according to the opinions of specialists and consumers.
