Abstract
The aim of the research is to identify some contemporary issues and life skills included in school theater texts, The research belongs to descriptive studies, and it was based on a content analysis form, on a sample of school theater texts.
Among the most important findings of the study: -
1. School theater texts were related to the contemporary issues around them, so we find that the theater specialist paid attention to this, so there were many ways for them to address global issues . This was evident in the theatrical texts of the study sample.
2. The texts comprised (64%) of the total study sample, as in the texts of a female cry, life is not money, a drop of water,No to bullying, the story of a hero, Janeti, the victim, the new Fawzi, Dream of the Wheel, while the texts prepared by (36%) came in the plays No to smoking, drug addiction,Mobile addiction.
3. The form of theatrical texts in the tragic form reached 60% of the total study sample as in the texts of "the victim, Reading or not, The Wise Boy,"The Devil's Watch", followed in the second place by a tragedy of 36%, as in the texts of the martyr's right, No to Nile pollution, Immune, followed by a comedian with 4%, as in the text. I'll take my right."
