The effect of using the (seven-day) learning cycle in the light of proverbs in teaching the unit of nutrition and food science on the acquisition of the ration and food production

Abstract

The current research aims to know the effectiveness of a reformulated unit using the strategy of the seven-stage learning cycle in light of proverbs on acquiring nutritional concepts and developing attitudes towards proper nutrition for second-grade secondary school students.
The two experimental processing tools were represented (the student’s book was formulated using the seven-course learning strategy in light of the proverbs of the unit of nutrition and food science, and the teacher's guide was written in the seven-course learning cycle in light of proverbs for teaching the unit).
As for measuring tools; It consisted in testing nutritional concepts and measuring trends towards proper nutrition. (Researcher preparation)
The basic research group was also limited to second-grade secondary school students at Malawi Secondary School for Girls, and the sample size was (33) students. The two measurement tools were applied to them before and after the teaching process using the learning and teaching tools.
The results of the search came:
1. There was a statistically significant difference at the level of (0.01) between the mean scores of the research sample in the pre and post applications to test nutritional concepts and the trend scale towards proper nutrition in favor of the post application.

2. There is a statistically significant difference at the level of (0.01) between the mean scores of the research sample in the pre and post applications in order to test nutritional concepts and measure trends towards proper nutrition in favor of the post application.
