Abstract

The current research aims mainly to reveal the nature of the relationship between cyberbullying with its five axes (impersonation - violation of privacy - exclusion - threat - defamation) and the ability to make decisions in its three dimensions (academic decisions - professional decision- social decisions) among adolescents, the research sample, The research tools were prepared, namely (general data form, cyber bullying scale, decision-making ability scale) On a sample consisting of (379) male and female students in the secondary stage, they were selected in a random and purposive manner from the adolescents in Fayoum Governorate from the countryside and urban and from different social and economic levels. The research followed the descriptive and analytical approach.One of the most important results was that the largest percentage of the research sample were exposed to cyberbullying once or twice, reaching 41.7% , It was also found that the highest percentage of individuals in the research sample preferred the role of the ignorant in cyberbullying, as they reached 27.2%, and it was also found that the most types of methods used in electronic bullying in the research sample were pictures and videos by 24%, and it was also evident that the level of awareness about both cyberbullying is low. And the dimensions of the decision-making ability of the research sample at rates of 54% and 52.5%, respectively, It also showed the difference in the relative weights of the axes of cyberbullying in the research sample, where defamation came first with a rate of 29.8%,
