Abstract

A Teaching Unit Based on the Analysis of Natural Forms
through Geometrical Network to Prepare Design
Paintings for a Sample of Art Education Students at the
Faculty of Education for Specific Studies, Ain Shams
University*
Objective: To reveal the possibility of a teaching unit inspired by nature based on the analysis of form through the Geometrical network to prepare design paintings.
Research hypothesis: There is a positive relationship between teaching the teaching unit that is inspired by nature based on the analysis of the form through the Geometrical network and the preparation of design paintings.
Research methodology: It employs the experimental method "semi-experimental design" where the teaching unit plays the role of the independent variable, whereas the design paintings is the dependent variable.
Research sample: It consists of 13 students from the third grade, Art Education Department, Faculty of Education for Specific Studies, Ain Shams University.
The most important results: The teaching unit as an independent factor has achieved a positive change in the behavior of the research sample students, which appears in their ability to recognize the elements of nature and carry out processes aimed at creating a Geometrical network included in design paintings.
