The impact of modern technology on the values of young people

Abstract

The research aims to study the effect of modern technology on the values of young people. The study sample consisted of (350) university youth and youth, from theoretical and practical colleges ranging in age from (18 years to 25 years old), and from different economic and social levels, and the research tools included a data form General, and a questionnaire on the impact of modern technology on the values of young people, and the research followed the descriptive and analytical approach.
The results of the research found that there are statistically significant differences between the average scores of the sample members in the impact of modern technology methods on the values according to the different demographic variables represented in gender, age, nature of the study, the level of education of the parents, the work of the mother, the number of family members and the monthly income of the family in favor of males, younger ages and theoretical colleges Low educational level for parents and the non-working mother, the number of older family members and high monthly income , There is also an inverse correlation relationship with statistical significance between the effect of modern technology on youth values and study variables, at the level of the indication ranged between (0,01), (0,05), as it was found that age is the most influential factor in the interpretation of the participation rate in the impact Modern technology means 79% of youth values.
