Abstract

The Research aimed to study requesting on some shopping updates and its relation to compulsive buying for housewife. The research used descriptive analytical method. The sample of this research including (200) housewife using shopping applications of mobile, going to shopping centers and have at least one electronic card at Cairo, Giza, and Alexandria Cities through personal interview and online questionnaire forms in this cities. The sample was selected in intentionally purposed way. The tools of this study included general data form of housewife, requesting on some shopping updates questionnaire and compulsive buying questionnaire. The results revealed that there was negative correlation between requesting on some shopping updates and compulsive buying for housewife. There was positive correlation between educational level, number of electronic cards and requesting on some shopping updates for housewife. There was positive correlation between age, marriage period and compulsive buying for housewife. There was negative correlation between number of electronic cards and compulsive buying for housewife. There were differences in requesting on some shopping updates of housewives to husbands who worked in private sector and free business. There were differences in compulsive buying for housewives to the greatest number of family members. The variables (requesting on shopping applications by smart phones, number of electronic cards and number of family members) affected by 18% on compulsive buying for housewives.
