Abstract

The research deals with a new source of inspiration from nature, which is the Sedimentary Silicate Chemical Rocks (agate), and the researcher deals with them with an unconventional vision and a careful, pondering look, because of the structural systems and color values inside them. Artistic, they are rocks characterized by many artistic values such as balance, proportionality, rhythm, unity and diversity, as well as rich in many design elements, which enrich the field of design, especially decorative painting, where the aim of the research is to reveal a natural source, which is the rocks of agate, and to benefit from it by extracting its structural systems And its color values, and employing them to enrich the decorative painting of the third year students of the Department of Art Education at the Faculty of Specific Education, Monfia University, by emphasizing the aesthetic relationships between color and the formal construction of agate, when teaching the design. The researcher concluded that.
Agate rocks contain very many types, each of which includes a tremendous amount of color systems and relationships, and their system, design construction and color relationships can be employed designally, especially when teaching the design principles of the decorative panel, as one stone of agate has many constructional versification And the artistic and aesthetic relationships and values, and each unique stone has its own quality, formal characteristics and structural systems
